Blue Sky Aviation was born out of the passion for flying by two friends, that settled in the majestic town of George, South Africa .
Both enthusiastic helicopter pilots, they envisaged a helicopter school between the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains and the beautiful coastal village of Haroldsbaai.
In August 2005 Werner Roux and FA Meiring bought their first helicopter, Robinson 44, and Blue Sky Aviation was started.
Through determination and the love of flying helicopters, this school has gone from strength to strength.
